Thank you! 7,000 Followers!

It is a great feeling to reach another milestone for The Bipolar Writer blog– 7,000 Followers.Β When I started this blog about eleven months ago, I had no idea where it could go. There were ideas in my head of where this mental health blog could go, but it turned out to be the most fantastic experience. From this blog, I was able to write my memoir and create a collaborative blog that others struggling with mental illness could find a place of solace writing for this blog.

In honor of this fantastic occasion, I will be opening up more spots on my collaborative writer positions, and giving more access to those current writers already on the roster. If you are interested in becoming a mental health/mental illness collaborator on this blog, please email me @

Again thank you!

Always Keep Fighting

      1. Yours is not an easy path, but there’s a lot of people out there on that path with you. The blog is serving a big need. πŸ™‚

    1. No secrets. I just make sure my content is good, and follow back everyone that follows me or at least I try. I add pictures to all posts and I try my best to always comment back.

      1. Yeah, I try to do the same (good content, follow back, pictures, commenting back). I haven’t always good about remembering to follow everyone back, but I’ve been working at doing a better job of that!

  2. That is impressive, I can’t believe you did so in such a short time! I’ll admit I’m a wee bit jealous lol, but so very happy for you too. You certainly seem to put a lot of work into this blog!

      1. I find that one of the hardest things is just keeping the motivation to post truly consistently and not let the depression overwhelm you when you are in the lows.

      2. I really hate the low parts when I am depressed because I feel less creative and willing to keep writing. It’s harder for me in the winter months so I try and thrive in the summer

      3. A lot of times when I can’t write due to depression, I share artwork that kind of illustrates how I’m feeling. Sometimes I am simply too depressed to come up with much to say and I don’t want to just whine constantly about how crappy I feel lol, even though I do indulge in a bit of that now and then.

      4. I know what you mean! Sometimes when my anxiety or depression is especially harsh I decide not to write. it is one of the reasons I turned this blog into a collaborative one, so others could share their stories/ideas/thoughts on my blog. It has helped to now always have t put new stuff out there in the WordPress world.
